In the search box on the taskbar, type Device Manager, then select Device Manager. Select the arrow next to Human Interface Devices and then select HID-compliant touch screen. (There may be more than one listed.)

Right-click the touchscreen device and select Uninstall. Confirm the uninstallation. Restart the computer to reinstall the touchscreen driver automatically after the windows update.

Double-click Add/Remove Programs. Scroll through the list of programs and locate the entry for a Touch Screen Driver, TouchWindow Driver or Edmark USB Control Panel and click on it once to select it. Click Add/Remove and follow the onscreen prompts to uninstall the driver.

Your touch screen might not respond because it is not enabled or needs to be reinstalled. Use Device Manager to enable and reinstall the touch screen driver. In Windows, search for and open Device Manager. Expand the Human Interface Devices list.

In your Start menu, search for Check for updates . Device drivers (like the touch screen driver) update through Windows and a recent update that you haven’t downloaded might be causing your touch screen not to work. Perform a touch screen diagnostic in HP Hardware Diagnostics.

To uninstall it, go to the \Steam\steamapps\common\PAYDAY 2 directory and look for files named IPHLPAPI. dll or WSOCK32. dll. Delete them if they exist.
