Change the Default Programs by Open with Just right click on the Outlook attachments and select “Save as” from the context menu. In the new window of “Save Attachment”, you can choose a preferred location to store this file and assign a new name to it. Finally click “Save” button.
Within Microsoft Outlook 2010, go to "File" menu and click "Options". Select the "Trust Center" link. Click on the "Trust Center Settings…" button. Select the "Attachment Handling" menu.
When you can’t see attachments in Outlook, the problem is usually associated with the app settings, your antivirus programs, or device limitations. A weak or overloaded internet connection can also cause Outlook attachments to not load properly.
You can change the Outlook email format to Rich text. In this format you can add the attachment to the body of the email and re-reordering them will be possible.

If we simply click on the attachment, you see that options appear in the Ribbon call Attachment Tools. From here you can take action on it.

Open an attachment In the message list, select the message that has the attachment. In the Reading Pane, double-click the attachment. You can also right-click the message that has the attachment and choose View Attachments.
The simplest way to display Outlook’s search tools is to click in the Search Current Mailbox box at the top of the message list. Click the File tab. Click Recent. Right click a file in the list and select Clear unpinned items. Click Yes to clear the list.
