sfc is not known for being a bulletproof tool. It checks system files, stuff that came with your windows. Its not user generated data (stuff that you should care about). And those system files are usually only read and never really written.
Restart your computer if sfc /scannow repaired files. System File Checker may or may not prompt you to restart but even if it doesn’t, you should restart anyway.
To temporarily run a program as an administrator, right-click the desktop icon of the application, or the executable file in the installation folder, and select Run as Administrator.
