Will Gears of War ever come to PC?

Gears of War 2 originally launched in 2008 as an Xbox 360 exclusive, and it has remained that way ever since. While the game is technically playable on Xbox One and Xbox Series X thanks to those consoles being backward compatible, it has never been released for PC.
