ipresentinterval is the setting the game uses to detect your monitor refresh rate. At 0 it uncaps your FPS, but that breaks the game physics unless you have a mod because physics were hard coded for 60 FPS. ipresentinterval set to 1 will keep your game running at 60 FPS for 60 Hz monitors.
