Is Ryzen 7 overkill for gaming?

Its a great chip but will become overkill if you don’t use it for its potential which is utilizing its cores and multitasking abilities at high clock speeds. If you want a Ryzen just for gaming… go with Ryzen 3, if on budget, Ryzen 5 if want very decent performance… Ryzen 7 if you want to push it to the limit!
