How do you know when someone joins your Twitch stream?

The Viewer List is the list of people connected to your chat. This list includes only users that have accounts and have connected to your chat — even when they are not active in the chat. The Viewer List is displayed by clicking the list button which is located beside the settings cog at the bottom of chat on Twitch.
