How do I permanently delete an app from the App Store?

On iOS 13 Touch and hold the app icon it will show a drop down menu. Touch the word delete and the app will be deleted. Other versions of iOS may work differently. If you touch and hold the icon And it starts to wiggle and a x appears in an upper corner just tap the x and it will be deleted.
