How do I fix Microsoft Store error checking my Internet connection?

1. Press Windows logo key + R, type inetcpl. cpl and hit Enter key. This will bring Internet Options.
2. Click on the Connections tab.
3. Click on the LAN Settings button.
4. Then uncheck the option Use a proxy server for your LAN. Click Apply.
5. Now re-launch Windows Store and check if it works.
