What to Know

1. Go to Control Panel > System and Security > Security and Maintenance > Maintenance > Stop Maintenance.
2. Turn off Windows automatic updates to cancel any updates in progress and prevent future updates.
3. On Windows 10 Pro, disable automatic updates in the Windows Group Policy Editor.
