How can I control my TV without a remote?

After making sure your phone is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your Android TV and downloading the Android TV Remote Control App, you will see a D-Pad interface once you open the app. You can then use the up/down/left/right arrows to navigate the TV. You also have an option to use a Touchpad instead of a D-Pad.
