No, it’s more like just stopping the OS from being able to use RAM to create a dedicated space for the iGPU aka VRAM. VRAM is just like RAM or storage, so pushing it to the limit will not cause any damage to your PC or GPU. Although, it will horribly spoil your Gaming Experience.
