What do you do when your laptop screen goes black but the cursor is working?

If you’re on a laptop:

1. 1) Shut down your laptop.
2. 2) Remove its battery.
3. 3) While the battery is out, press and hold the power button for 60 seconds.
4. 4) Put the battery back in and start your PC again.
5. 1) Restart your computer in Safe Mode.
6. The black screen problem can also be caused by corrupted Windows user profile.
