How do I fix the AC power adapter type Cannot be determined?

Power cycle your PC

1. Unplug your charger, power off your laptop, and remove your battery.
2. Hold down the power button for at least 30 seconds.
3. Put the battery back in, with the charger and reboot.
4. Check if this fixed it.
