How can I tell if my SSD is external?

To get BIOS to detect the SSD, you need to configure the SSD settings in BIOS as follows:

1. Restart your computer, and press the F2 key after the first screen.
2. Press the Enter key to enter Config.
3. Select Serial ATA and press Enter.
4. Then you’ll see the SATA Controller Mode Option.
