Why can’t I see AirPlay on my Mac?

To do this, go to Settings > Displays > check the box next to Show mirroring options in the menu bar when available. With that checked, whenever there are AirPlay devices to connect to, the AirPlay icon will appear in your menu bar. Just click it and select a device you want.
